My name is Christy Glassford. I grew up here, in Pike Road, Al, when all that was out here was the Post Office and Cecil's gas station. When I graduated from high school, I had a deep desire to do something meaningful to impact others. In college, I decided I could do that through teaching. I graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and from Auburn University Montgomery with a  Masters in Secondary Education English Language Arts. From there, I taught 4 years of 7th and 8th grade English at Montgomery Public Schools. In spring 2015, I was selected to be part of the original Pike Road School staff. The last five years at Pike Road have been such a blessing. I am proud of what we have built so far, and I continue to be amazed as we grow. It is a privilege to teach your child this year.
